AOlumsuz: did not (didn't) + yalın fiil
Geçmiş zamanın olumsuzu bütün öznelerde did not (didn't) + yalın fiil ile kurulur. Fiile -ed eklenmez, düzensiz fiilin geçmiş hâli kullanılmaz.
