AEdilgen neden bu kadar sık?
Bilimsel metinlerde önemli olan işi kimin yaptığı değil, ne yapıldığıdır. Bu yüzden edilgen yapı (passive) çok sık kullanılır: be + V3.

Boşluktan sonra bir nesne geliyorsa ve özne işi yapabiliyorsa etken; özneye iş yapılıyorsa ve arkada nesne yoksa edilgen seçin.
